Water Fund

Aquafondo

Aquafondo joins the Network of Environmental Funds of Latin America and the Caribbean (RedLAC)

We are pleased to announce that Aquafondo is the first Peruvian water fund to join RedLAC, a regional network that fosters collaboration among environmental funds to strengthen biodiversity conservation and sustainable development. This integration will allow us to enhance cooperation with other funds and apply nature-based solutions in mountain ecosystems.

RedLAC, which includes 30 funds from 20 countries, is key to developing financial mechanisms for local, regional, and global impacts. In 2024, RedLAC’s annual congress will be held in October in Saint Lucia and will focus on the 30×30 Agreement to protect and restore biodiversity by 2030.

RedLAC is a leading community in the conservation of #ecosystems and #biodiversity and the sustainable development of the region, generating measurable impacts at the local, regional, and global levels.

Together, we will continue working for a greener and more sustainable future!
